The Lumineers are an American folk rock band from Denver, Colorado. Members of the band include Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar, piano) Neyla Pekarek (vocals, cello, piano) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums).
In 2011 they issued their debut, self-titled and self-recorded EP. They recorded their debut full-length album, also self-titled, in Seattle at Bear Creek studio. Released in 2012 the album was produced by Ryan Hadlock and issued by Dualtone Music. The LP reached #3 on the Billboard Independent Albums chart while also reaching the Top 15 on the Rock and Digital Albums charts and #45 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart.
